Target Audience

This activity is intended for physicians and other health care professionals involved in the management of patients with Crohn’s disease.

Learning Objectives

At the end of this educational program, attendees should be able to:

  • Describe the clinical indications for starting and stopping biologic therapy
    in patients with Crohn’s disease
  • Define treatment success and failure in patients with Crohn’s disease
  • Outline management options for patients with Crohn’s disease who fail
    therapy with one or more TNF antagonists
  • Describe strategies by which to minimize the risk of biologic therapy in
    Crohn’s disease
  • Identify achievable treatment goals for patients with Crohn’s disease in
    the biologic era.

Post-test and Evaluation
